Youth Adventures

THE MISSION

New Beginnings Church of Christ Youth Adventure exists to provide a myriad of exciting outdoor and indoor adventure experiences. Our participants establish strong connections while learning Godly principles, the values of collaboration and respect. Our youth are encouraged to engage in adventures to help them realize a greater potential.

THE VISION

Young people are at a time in their lives when they are discovering what they are capable of, and setting their expectations for the future. By inviting them to participate in social activities and encouraging them to challenge their perception of their limitations, we will provide opportunities for the youth to build confidence, increase their sense of self-efficacy, and help foster resilience. For each participant, the adventure has a unique place as part of their story. NBCC Youth Adventure will promote teamwork, trust, and gaining confidence to overcome social challenges. It will also help them hear and understand that we can apply God’s word in everything we do. Whatever the impact, our goal is to create a space where they can see and experience God, share who they are with others, and leave the adventure with a stronger understanding of how much they are valued and loved.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • Create opportunities for our participants to explore outdoor and indoor activities safely
  • Provide recreational adventure, leadership, service, education and community activities that foster spiritual growth
  • Provide opportunities to participate in programs regardless of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or socio-economic status
  • Provide opportunities that stimulate the participants to overcome their perceived limits to discover their individual skills and abilities
  • In everything we do, safety is our utmost concern. Our desire is to create an environment in which each participant is challenged and their perceived limits are stretched while maintaining confidence in each individual’s safety.
